Nestled among the Worcestershire countryside is a fruit farm with a difference.
Clive's Fruit Farm, in Upper Hook Road, Upton Upon Severn, has branched out to become more than just a producer of apples and pears. Instead, it now has also become a popular glamping spot.
It also attracts families to its farm shop, cafe and playground. There's also a chance to chill out and watch the free-roaming farmyard animals or try a refreshing freshly-squeezed pear or apple drink from the Juice Shed.
Clive's Fruit Farm holds special events through the year, like the Harvest Fruit Fest in the autumn.
This year's free event takes place on Sunday September 20th, 2015, from 11am to 4pm and includes morris dancers, apple bobbing and live apple pressing demonstrations. There's also a hot pig roast for hungry visitors.
Clive's Fruit Farm prides itself on being a family-friendly venue and so the owners happily let children go up close to watch the farmyard animals of chickens and pigs.
The playground even features a toy tractor so youngsters can imagine what it's like to be a farmer.
The farm shop, meanwhile, stocks a range of locally grown produce plus home-made cakes, bread and gastro delights, and the cafe is a nearby haven for those camping at the site.
Part of the attraction to Clive's Fruit Farm, between Malvern and Worcester, is that visitors can also pay to pick their own apples and pears fresh from the farm land.
The region has become synonymous with growing some of the best apples and pears in the country, which is why it is also associated with the manufacture of cider.
