If you're looking to channel your inner architecture nerd and have a knack for heights, then the Church is calling your name on June 27, 2025. This isn't your run-of-the-mill church visit – we're talking Grade One listed, dating back to the 12th century, and holding a spot on Historic England's Heritage at Risk Register because, let's face it, even historic buildings need a little TLC. Thanks to a hefty grant from the fabulous folks at the National Lottery and some serious backing from local organizations, this church is getting a makeover that would make even the poshest home renovation shows jealous.

During the tour, you'll get to see the church up close and personal as it gets a facelift that will hopefully spruce up the visitor experience and keep it standing for generations to come. But be warned: this isn't a stroll in the park. Fair warning, you'll need a bit of pep in your step as there will be climbing involved – yes, scaffolding! If the thought of heights makes your knees tremble or if your mobility isn't up to snuff, this might not be your cup of tea. Got questions?
