From the outside Halo appears to be nothing more than a run-down church, but it has been transformed in to an amazing nightclub, designed beautifully with an eclectic mix of the historical architecture and new modern chic, providing a truly unique space for students.

Attached to Halo is it's partner venue, The Quilted Lama, a bar and restaurant situated in what was the back of the church, serving delicious food and cocktails for those looking for a more tame, relaxed night out.

Situated on the edge of the University of Leeds campus on Woodhouse Road, Halo is in the perfect position to attract those on campus students too lazy to walk or too skint to get a taxi in to town.

Halo throws on a Monday "quids in" night, where entry and drinks are all priced at a pound. (granted not all drinks, and the £1 selection is pretty poor, but still!) So Mondays are a must go, as the floor is packed, the music's great and everyone loves the cheap drinks.
