Learn about spooky goings-on during Halloween tour
Be afraid, be very afraid! People in Staffordshire are being encouraged to get into the spooky spirit of Halloween by taking part in a spine-tingling guided tour of Lichfield's historic city centre. Lichfield District Council's visitor economy team, Visit Lichfield, has launched the brand new Hubble Bubble tour for 2020 and is inviting groups to celebrate Old Hallows' Eve in style. From creepy ghost sightings across the city to gruesome burnings at the stake and Civil War battles, Lichfield has a wealth of stories to send shivers down your spine. To help with social distancing during the ongoing coronavirus guidelines, the tours are only being offered to groups of up to five people and can be tailored for individual groups. Booking a Hubble Bubble tour is simple - just get five of your friends or family together and choose a time and date to suit them, and then book a tour with the Visit Lichfield team at least five days before your preferred date.

Councillor Iain Eadie, Lichfield District Council's Cabinet Member responsible for Tourism, said: "With trick or treating unable to take place in the normal way this year, our Hubble Bubble tours are a great way to celebrate Halloween. Lichfield has a fascinating history and our guides have collected stories of our often gory past and of ghost sightings across the city, making for a macabre but fun tour." Hubble Bubble tours last 90 minutes and cost £30 per group of up to five people. They can be booked by calling 01543 308924 or by emailing email@example.com.
