Build With Giant Lego Blocks

A vineyard is probably not the first place you would think of for a family day out with the kids, but at Denbies in Dorking, England's largest wine estate, there is far more than grapevines and heady taste testings.

Over the half term, between 18th - 22nd February, Denbies has activities that everyone can enjoy. The week starts with a Tropical Rainforest Road Show at 11am & 2pm on Monday 18th. For 6.50, children will be able to learn about and handle creatures from all over the world. Then on the 19th between 10am - 2pm, there is free admission to the Birds of Prey demonstrations and display. On the same day, is probably the most fun event of all: a Lego exhibition using giant lego pieces. There is also a lego building competition. Exhibit your Lego model and you could win a Lego-built Star Wars Naboo Fighter. You can download the entry form on their website.

Wednesday follows with a Magical Theatre Performance from Cat's Grin with a showing of Little Red Riding Hood and Friends at 11am & 2pm, which costs 6.50. Thursday has another Lego Building activity, and on Friday, the week is rounded off with a good old traditional Punch & Judy show at 10.30am, 12pm, & 2pm.
