See the lambs being born

Surrey is an ideal mix of urban and countryside. You are close by to plenty of facilities, but have beautiful views as well. Bocketts Farm Park is the perfect example of this suburban county. A family-run farm in Leatherhead, it has a combination of animals and play areas. It is a place for families to visit for fun all year round as it offers both in and outdoor facilities.

The best times to go, however, is during the holidays, where there are extra activities to be enjoyed.

This February Half Term between the 16th-24th coincides with the lambing season, with up to ninety lambs due to be born from Valentine's Day onwards. To be in with a chance to see a birth, head down to Bocketts.

Even if you are not lucky enough to watch the miracle of life taking place, you will still be able to watch the daily birds of prey flying demonstrations and pig racing games. You can also head over to the Pony Parlour, where you will be able to groom and ride the animals. Talking about rides, how about a go on the tractor? Or may you'd prefer a cuddle with a bunny rabbit.

Standard admission prices are 9.20, 8.40 for seniors, 7.60 for 2 year olds, 6.80 for the disabled, and free for under 2s.
