Hyde Park Art Club is excited to host "H E A V E N," a solo exhibition by Leeds-based artist George Storm Fletcher, curated by Sarah Roberts, Benedetta D'ettorre, and Fletcher himself. The exhibition, opening on May 29th, 2024, features a unique collaboration with filmmaker Ronnie Danaher. Together, they have produced a film centered on Kirkstall Road, a vital artery through Leeds' student district. Accompanying the film is an installation that invites visitors to explore and reflect on their personal connections with the city. Fletcher's work combines historical layers and contemporary politics, marked by their signature sharp wit. This project not only serves as a living archive of Kirkstall Road during the exhibition but will also continue as a book of oral histories available in city centre libraries.
