A View To Remember: Greenwich
London is full of spectacular views from park-hills to the high floors of buildings. There are many spots in which you can catch the sunset over the Thames or the sun over the city's tallest building, but there's one view that's truly special- Greenwich's 'One Tree Hill'
The 180 acres of Greenwich park is pretty spectacular- home to Prime Meridian Line and Royal Observatory and a vast green space with a variety of amenities. But if it's a View you're after, be prepared to take a short stroll up a rather steep hill.
Worthwhile in its glory, the best view is from the top of One Tree Hill which is hard to miss. Walk the path to the top and you'll be greeted by a View that looks over St. Paul's, The Shard and many of the buildings that form London's skyline.
Despite the weather's unpredictability, it's worth the trip even on less clear nights as the lights that shine from the architecture of London always make it a beautiful site. It's therefore a prime location for romantic walks, family walks and solo walkers alike.
