The Grapes is a fantastic pub for a different experience on a night out in Liverpool. It attracts a fairly trendy crowd of musicians, students and locals and has plenty of decent nights on offer for all to enjoy. A particularly popular night is the Sunday night live jazz band, which is becoming so popular you simply can't move on some Sundays. It's a pub where everybody's friendly and welcoming, and a lot of people get up and dance when the live shows are on.



They serve a range of draught beers and ales, a selection of house wines and a full bar of spirits. They don't serve food, but they are so close to Hardman Street that if you wanted a snack at either a carry out or a restaurant, both are a five minute walk away from the pubs front door. I would definitely recommend this place for a pint on a Sunday night. They have a smoking area out back which has all sorts of ornate plants and sculptures and is a really nice place to chill.

It's one of the last remaining true 'Liverpool pubs', so if you're looking to soak in friendly scouse atmosphere, give this place a try!
