Do you have a new wardrobe every season? Can't enough of the latest styles? Do you have to be the firs in the know about what's on trend? If so, then you won't want to miss the Graduate Fashion Weekend, which takes place at the Old Truman Brewery between the 31st May - 3rd June. You can't get fashion any fresher than straight out out of university, and these young and upcoming graduates are full of ambition, style, and innovation.
The annual four day event is a stepping stone for graduates, between school and a career. It has acted as a platform for some of the most successful designers of our time, including Christopher Bailey, who was the winner of the first ever Graduate Fashion Week Gold Award, Stella McCartney, Giles Deacon, and Matthew Williamson.
The awards categories up for grabs this year include Accessories, Textiles, Fashion Portfolio, Ethics, Innovation, New Business, Marketing, Media, Styling & Creative Direction, Photography, and Catwalk.
While the exhibition is open all weekend for £11, there are between three and seven catwalk shows
scheduled everyday, featuring different universities. Tickets are £17.50 for each show, but you can also
book in conjunction with the exhibition for £25.
