Audiences have the chance to see Gilbert and Sullivan's rarely performed The Sorcerer at Birmingham's Old Rep Theatre this March.

Staged by the Birmingham Savoyards, the show tells the story of Alexis who is so happy to be marrying his sweetheart Aline that he enlists the help of sorcerers to bewitch his entire village. Eager to share the love, what he actually conjures up is mayhem.



Taking place at the Old Rep between 6-8 March, the performance features Elissa Street as Aline. Winner of the Best Female Voice at last summer's Gilbert and Sullivan UNIFest competition, Elissa is making her debut with the Savoyards.
