Beware things that go bump in the night on Halloween trail
Ghosts and demons will be haunting the streets of Tamworth in Staffordshire as Halloween fright night comes to town. The Tamworth Arts and Events team is readying 'Ghosts in the Garden' which will take adults on a spooky tour of the town's ghostly legends and locations Fired Up Theatre's Ghosts in the Garden event will take place over the Halloween weekend of Saturday 30 October and Sunday 31 October. Visitors will be invited to join a lantern-lit procession while poltergeists, ghosts, gothic storytellers, and masters of the macabre fill the historic Tamworth Castle Grounds and gardens of Tamworth. Actors will perform a unique brand-new promenade production that combines poetic and visual splendour and sorcery with 'things that go bump in the night' comedy and creepy goings-on. The interactive trail will go through the Castle Grounds and various gardens. People will be taken around by guides, stopping at various checkpoints where other characters will tell chilling ghost stories. Horror fans will also get the chance to enjoy a glass of wine or real ale at the final stop-off point in the Market Vaults pub.
