You've seen him torment bakers in the tent, tease Mary on TV, and tempt us all with his amazing tarts. The artisan Bread maker, Paul Hollywood, has been gracing our screens on The Great British Bake Off for the past four years, shown us how to make brilliant loaves in his Bread series, and he is currently on air with a show full of Pies & Puds.
There is not a doubt that Hollywood has brought showbiz to baking; the humble cottage loaf has never been so famous. Baking has become sexy, and it is not Nigella Lawson we have to thank.
Paul Hollywood appeals to both men and women. While many ladies would like to see his hands knead more than just dough, Hollywood has proved (sorry, couldn't help myself), a man's place is in the kitchen. In an interview with the Radio Times, he recalled how big tough men were sending him photos of their cup cakes.
If you would like to meet Paul for yourself, but don't have the nerve to apply for the Bake Off, then you can still Get Your Bake On when he embarks on his live tour. From the 28th April - 26th May 2014, Paul Hollywood will be travelling up and down the UK, sharing his pearls of baking wisdom.
Paul will demonstrate recipes, reveal secrets of what it is like to be a TV chef, and share his story about how he got into the profession. At the end of each show, four members from the audience will be picked to join Paul on stage, and compete for the chance to be Star Baker.
Ticket prices vary depending on which area you are in, but they start from £33. So what are you waiting for? Get your bake on.
