Head down to The Gazebo to sit, relax and watch the life of the Thames float by from the comfort of a sofa. The best time of day to visit in my opinion in lunchtime, it's the perfect time to enjoy the comfortable modern interior with gorgeous riverside views. The Gazebo also has a small menu available with a selection of basic pub dinners that are reasonably priced (between £3.00-£8.00).

Food wise, I recommend the home comfort foods such as the fish and chips or bangers and mash for their generous portions and great homely taste. The salads I found to be a bit bland and the chicken was dry. The menu itself, although not extensive is good value and also includes fair-trade tea at £1 and rainforest alliance coffee at £1.55, making The Gazebo the perfect place for a cup of tea by the riverside. The Gazebo also has a selection of wines, real ales and usual pub drinks available.

Not only is The Gazebo's location great for the views, it is also a five minute walk away from the Bentall Centre and main high street shopping in Kingston, as well as the Kingston markets.

Upstairs is definitely my favourite place to sit as it has better views of the river and a balcony, which is great in hot weather .It also has an upstairs bar and toilets, so there's no need to keep marching up and down stairs with drinks. The staff are always polite and a pleasure to be around, whilst consistently providing great service.

In the summer, The Gazebo is always busy and a great sunbathing spot, but even in the winter, I enjoy spending time there to escape the Christmas crowds and curl up with a book, making The Gazebo is a lovely spot to sit and have a meal or a drink with great views all year round.
