We all know British weather can be un-reliable, but here I explore 3 of the funnest things to do in London this summer!
The Magic Roundabout

This quirky venue is as fun as its name and must be accessed via a secret staircase in Old-Street station. A rooftop bar, this place is ideal for those after something more than just a standard beer garden and attracts a young generation of party-goers. What makes this place unique is its decor and attention to detail. With their very own water feature and artificial grass to further the sensation of being in a garden, you truly get a sense of the attention to detail. On weekends and bank holidays, expect live DJ performances which attract busy crowds throughout the summer. Their drinks menu is a little pricey, but well worth a visit to this totally magnificent and unique place!
St James' Park
Wanting something more relaxing to do this summer? If your answer was yes, then look no further than St James' Park. This beautiful park is located just by Buckingham Palace, perfect for those who wishes to simultaneously sight see whilst taking a little break. This place is perfect for families who wish to take advantage of the sun, with deckchairs available to hire for only £5. With those wanting to spend more than an hour here, I'd recommend a picnic on the grass, with the little ones entertained feeding the ducks by the pond. Compared to the likes of Green Park or Richmond, this park is much smaller in size, meaning a stroll around the park's perimeter is an achievable task, even for the younger ones.
Backyard Cinema

This is the ultimate summer experience, and perfect for those film fanatics out there! Located in SE1, this rooftop cinema offers an incredible view while you sit back to some of your favourite films. With a comfortable setting of bean bags, fairy lights and sweet treats, this place has all the ingredients necessary to help you and your companion relax. Tickets are typically £16.50 and with movies from Disney to horror to choose from, you're sure to have an unforgettable experience. You'll only find a handful of these unique cinemas in London, so make the most of Backyard Cinema this summer!
