I can't honestly say that the stereotypical 'dumb blonde' outlook has completely left the building, but it is certainly on its way out. I think reality shows such as The Apprentice and like the comedy, Legally Blonde, helped a little.

If Reese Witherspoon proved that chihuahuas, pink, and fluffy things can have a place in the law courts, then surely they can fit into the business world too.

Just remember, if fashion and business really didn't mix, then we would not have all these successful big name labels, and we would not have half as much choice when shopping for clothes.

When starting off any business, a little planning, research, and advice goes a long way. A two-day workshop by Front Row Academy hopes to get entrepreneurs on the right track by hosting a series of lectures at the Lyst Studio in Hoxton on the 27th & 28th February. Tickets cost £95 to book, and while there, you can learn all about the fusion of fashion, technology, and business.

As well as lectures, you can take part in panel discussions, look for investors, get help in promoting your business, receive valuable feedback on your idea, build a list contacts and networks, watch a demonstration presented by start-up business, which will be judged by for their merit by a team of experts.
