Community radio station is a treat in a world of banal stations playing the same music on rotation and DJs who are even more banal in their chat.

is run by volunteers, including the presenters, and each show is individually curated by the person running it, usually based around some sort of loose theme, offering a wonderful array of variety representative of the diverse community in the town.

Here's an overview of some of the shows

**Global Frome
Presented by Michael Ormiston.**

Michael has years of experience with world music and is a master at throat singing as well as many esoteric instruments. He introduces a wild melange of tunes from far off lands, often affecting and sometimes intense.

**Very Very Vintage
Produced and presented by Nick Cotterell.**
Nick brings old-style jazz to the masses.

**Orient Express
Presented by Geoffrey Mackett.**

Geoffrey and Mrs M travel on the Orient Express exploring world music from London to Shanghai.

**Space Folk Horror Lounge
Presented by Darren Giddings**

Darren has a treasure trove of exotica that he draws from. Sounds from the radiophonic workshop rubbing up against Japanese folk would not be at all unusual. All delivered with a wry smile and a sense of passion for the uncharted realms of music.

**
Rebellious Jukebox
Presented by Julian Crawley.**
Presented by current chairman the Rebellious Jukebox is an opportunity for him to play some rock and roll classics, some more out there cuts and generally entertain with music that has an edge.

**Westcott's World
Presented by Jeremy Westcott.
**

A magazine show taking in all sorts of stories, whether it be food, drink or travel these are the basis along with a mix of music.

Trug and Lettuce
Alistair Scott from local gardening firm Trug and Lettuce hosts a show of the same name with seasonal gardening tips and missives from his kitchen table.

Sacred Sound Journey with Ian Marshall

Yes, that's right - this is my show, the latest member to join and the newest show on the air. I'm taking listeners through some spiritual music, whether that be to meditate to or to dance to and alongside that interviewing local practitioners in sound healing and musicians with a spiritual side.
