Music lovers are being invited to swing into February with a vibrant live stage show taken from the pages of the Rat Pack era. '', which comes to the
Tamworth Assembly Rooms in Staffordshire on February 7, promises to be a stunning celebration of the golden years of stage and screen. It will showcase three of the 20th century's greatest icons - Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe and Dean Martin - who will treat audiences to a selection of classic old favourites including Come Fly with Me, Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend and The Lady is a Tramp. The show will feature David Alacey (Lovejoy & Inspector Alleyn) as Sinatra alongside Paul Drakeley as Martin and special guest Charley Toulan, who will perform many of the great songs associated with Monroe, including Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend and My Heart Belongs to Daddy. She will also recreate a historic moment in Rat Pack history by serenading a member of the audience with a special performance of Happy Birthday.
Now celebrating its 21st record-breaking year, will bring style, glamour and the excitement of the Las Vegas heyday to life on stage. Audiences will be treated to a collection of familiar hits from these legends of entertainment, which will also include the likes of My Way, Mr Bojangles, New York New York, Amore and Fly Me to The Moon. This stylish treat for all the family also features the fabulous Buddy Greco Band under the direction of BBC musical director Mac Shone and The Stunning L.A Showgirls, making it easy to believe you are being transported back a few decades to the classic days of 60s Vegas.
