With a little bump and grind
Beckenham although small, is home to a handful of bars, clubs, however, not so much.

Friction Bar, right outside Beckenham junction station, might not be where it's at, but it's where my friends and I were on a random night out in the little town, and where we had a lot of laughs.

Friction, Friction bar, bar, Beckenham,
Drinks at the bar

The bar is small to medium in size, and after midnight everyone heads to the underground club-like room, beneath the main bar.

It's a heady, sweaty mix of fun-loving folk and those who just want to dance the night away. You might get the odd drunk, but for the most part, we were surrounded my jolly drinkers and happy dancers.

The music is a mix of club and chart hits with a few underground reggae, dancehall, trap and dance music tracks.

To enter, on a Saturday, be prepared to part with 10 for entry fee, and remember your I.D.
