Until the end of September you can enjoy free performances at the Scoop, More London, just next to the river Thames. They're all worth a try.
While on Friday, July 20th everyone came to the neighbourhood of Tower Bridge to observe Olympic Torch coming to London, at the nearby The Scoop, actors were getting ready to start another play that day – "Agamemnon", Greek tragedy about the king coming back home after a war.
This play, as well as two others ("The Trojan House" and "Orestes"), is performed throughout July and beginning of August at the location mentioned above. First one is presented at 6.30pm and the last one at 9.30pm. They will be performed until August 5th.
Then live music will come to the stage with performances by groups like West End Kids, London Gay Men Chorus or Atongo Zimba, who is influenced by traditional African music.
I can't wait for September, as at the Scoop I'll be able to watch movies for free. The first free film screening will take place on Wednesday, September 12th and it will be "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel", which I missed in the cinemas.
