Situated in the busy Rotunda complex in Kingston, Frangos offers spicy chicken at varying degrees of 'spiciness' in a relaxed environment. The rice and fries are excellent, while bottomless re-fills on fizzy drinks makes it hard to tear oneself way, especially as the staff are very pleasant, polite and attentive.

The decor is a bit shabby, but this is compensated for by the tasty chicken, cheap prices and proximity to a 14 screen cinema complex.

Frangos offers student discounts of 25 % off on Mondays and Tuesdays and, although it certainly attracts a younger crowd, oldies are not made to feel unwelcome.

Given its value for money and excellent location, it might be suggested that Frangos is hard to beat. I am a frequent visitor, normally prior to one of my cinema outings, but then that is its hallmark: convenient location with tasty chicken at affordable prices.

I am a trifle cowardly in tending to go for the medium choice on the 'spicometer', but those with a more adventurous palate would no doubt enjoy chicken a lot spicier!

Try it for yourself and I would be surprised if you leave disappointed.
