Here come the girls! Four top Birmingham NIA shows in October are headlined by feisty females.
First up is everybody's favourite pint-sized Antipodean,
Kylie Minogue, on October 7.
Kylie's Birmingham show is part of her Kiss Me Once Tour which comprises 31 concerts in 15 countries.
It will showcase
Kiss Me Once, her first studio album since 2010's
Aphrodite, although plenty of older material and hits are promised.
Caro Emerald takes over the NIA for her rescheduled show on October 11. Originally due to take place earlier this year, the tour was postponed when Caro announced she was pregnant. Her daughter arrived in March.
The 33-year-old Dutch singer reached number one with her second album,
The Shocking Miss Emerald, in May 2013, following the multi-platinum success of debut album, 2010's
Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor.
October 15 sees the irrepressible
Lady Gaga moving into the NIA for the first of two concerts (the second is on November 13) as part of her artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball world tour.
The show's specially designed stage will bring Lady Gaga even closer to her fans, no matter where they are seated.
Runways made of translucent material reach out into the audience from the main stage, connecting to several other smaller stages. Fans will be able to walk and dance under the runways, creating a whole new vantage point from which to experience the show.
After a massive UK tour in March and April Comedy Queen
Miranda Hart is back at Birmingham NIA on October 17.
Her My, What I Call, Live Show has been a huge success, leaving audiences wanting more – so that is what Miranda is giving them, with a handful of extra October dates around the country.
She earned her reputation as a comedian from stand-up and sketch shows at the Edinburgh Festival and on the London circuit but has become a household name thanks to her hit BBC 1 sitcom,
Miranda.
