Is it necessary to spend a fortune on a high end professional camera to take a good picture? In the past perhaps, but not nowadays. Now you don't even need a camera. Most of us take our photos with a mobile.
While a good photograph may not rely on having the best camera on the market, it does, however, require a bit of knowledge on how to make the best with what you've got. The difference between a stunning sunset and an over exposed glare of light is not down to the tools, but the but the person using them.
Foto Ruta is a unique photography workshop for beginners and professionals alike. They turn their classes into walking tours, bringing London to life through pictures. Foto Ruta provides various workshops, but one of their most popular is
iPhoneography , because not everyone may have a camera, but most people have a phone.
Each workshop takes you to a different part of London, and next up is Brixton. On the 20th September between 2pm - 6pm you will discover this multicultural district through the lens of your iPhone/Smart Phone as you explore Brixton Market, Brixton High Street, and Electric Avenue.
After the tour is over, you will head back to Foto Ruta HQ for a glass of wine and a review of your work. Standard tickets are £45, but Early Birds get s discount rate of £35. You will receive app advice, learn practical skills, and helped to master imaginative photography techniques.
