Before joining Weekend Notes, I never did much photography, but over the last two years I have come to quite enjoy taking my camera out on trips, and snapping a few shots. I do sometimes get a few odd looks from people though, who seem to think it is most peculiar that I am taking a picture.
These people obviously don't share the same ethos as
Foto Ruta, who believe that the best way to see London is through the lens of a camera. They bring the capital to life with photographic tours and workshops for professionals, amateurs, and those who have never picked up a camera before.
They provide a number of experiences, but their most affordable adventure is Foto Ruta Clue. For £24 you will be given a set of clues that will lead you on a journey through a selected neighbourhood. Along the way you will learn about the area and how to improve your photography skills. Foto Ruta Clue takes place in a different location each month between 2pm - 6pm. On the 18th August, Foto Ruta will be exploring one of their favourite areas, - Shoreditch - known for its 'weird characters, strange shop fronts and entertaining pop-ups.' The
Shoot Shoreditch workshop will include a map pack, review of your work, and a glass of wine.
