Forty Dean Street, as the name suggests, is the Italian restaurant on Dean Street.



The food was average, but it's a decent cheap eat if you want a simple Italian that fills you up.

Comparatively, however, my friends wolfed down their starters and mains, not least because they were hungry, but they enjoyed their tomato and aubergine starters.



The mains, on the other hand had varied responses. The birthday girl loved her tomato seafood spaghetti of mussels, salmon and prawns, which was rather fishy, just how she liked it.

The other guests at the table really seemed to enjoy their food and I'll admit we all got a fair deal. Forty Dean Street offers specials as well as set menus, which, for us, included a starter and a main for £15, which is a bargain, considering we were in the middle of Soho.
