Half way along Abbeydale Road in Sheffield lies , a hip and trendy café. And the food is delicious. You can actually have your cake and eat it too!

But it is so much more than a café. At the Bakehouse, all the bread and pastries are handmade with love and care. The leftover bread that isn't sold even goes to the pigs down at the local farm! The Bakehouse run seasonal events such as a Supper Club and a Pop Up Pizzeria and various classes such as An Introduction to Breadmaking or French Baking.



has three spaces. The first is a small shop in which you can pop in and buy some fresh bread or delicious cakes for brunch. You simply pay over the counter and are given your chosen pastries in a paper bag to take home. The second space is a small café inside, which is where you can natter with your partner or a group of friends and stay as long as you like to get out of the rain. The third space is a wonderful seating area outside made up of rustic wooden benches and tables, for those mild and temperate winter days and when Winter gives way to warmer temperatures.

Serving mouth-watering cakes, light and flaky pastries, strong coffee and smooth hot chocolate, as well as an extensive list of cold drinks such as Fritz-Kola, you'll be wondering why you hadn't visited the sooner.



The next Pop Up Pizzeria is on Sunday 18th December, 5 - 8PM.
