I can't tell you how important this place is to me...

Fopp is one of those shops I visit regularly, it is like a go to place for all my entertainment needs - and I believe I am not the only one. You see, there was a time that Fopp no longer existed-it closed down - a casualty of the trend for downloading and online media that has seen the numerous record stores of the past shrivel down to just a handful.

But people didn't want Fopp to go. Its eclectic range of music, DVD, books and tech at seriously good prices meant Fopp had to return, and just like a phoenix, it did.

So what can you get there? Well, Fopp has a broad range of music, films and books - but it does quirky very, very well. Want an obscure Japanese movie - they've probably got it. Want a boxset of a long forgotten '70's tv sitcom - again, you'll probably find it here. Plus the range of CD's at prices that can fall below £3 and there "suck it and see" policy - where you can take back what you have bought with the original receipt within 4 weeks to get a swap or money back, mean even the risk is taken away from buying something and not liking it - chances are you will keep your discoveries though as they can really be eye-opening.
