Food Truck @ Acton Lane crossway

So what's so special about this? Well nothing really.
Nothing fancy, nothing stylish, nothing too flashy and not even a name. And yet, this food truck at the crossing of Acton Lane stands out for everything that London is about - Keep calm and carry on.
Serving burgers, rolls and omelette at a price that would give the cheapest stalls a run for their money (cheeseburgers for around £2), it's always surrounded by workers from nearby offices who flock it like curious kitties.
I on the other hand was simply driven to it by the sweet smell of roasting onions. It was an experience I didn't expect, mind you that I am not very fond of food trucks. I don't particularly like them, as there is often no place to sit, you eat out in the open and you can't take your time with the food. However, the quality of food was better than what I expected.
I ordered double eggs in a roll and was asked for a choice of bread between a baguette and a softer bread. I opted for the latter, and it was a good choice. The sandwich was stuffed with two semi-fried eggs and roasted onions, and sprinkled with salt and pepper. It was the warmth one would crave for on such a cold wintery afternoon.
In my opinion, I would say it's good value for your money at this price.
