Another place discovered by accident - and another that literally stopped me in my tracks to find out more - if ever you needed to know why I like London so much, this as a reason has to be pretty high up there...

So, if you were walking down a street and saw a corner shop called , wouldn't you stop to take a look? Well, I did it for you, and this is what I discovered.

is an antique and vintage shop, tucked nicely into the space between Dalston and Stoke Newington. It really is a treasure trove for the collector, or those interested in having something a little different to decorate their homes with.

I was quite fascinated by the Laurel and Hardy figures you can see in the window display - but there is much more to this shop than old toys. They have vintage and collectable books, lovely jewelry, vintage clothes and hats, and my favourite - those really, really cool table top lighters like you have no doubt seen in countless 1960's movies (and maybe even in Austin Powers, I can't remember).

Another thing I really like are the very personal touches they have with their interaction with their customers, and general passers-by, especially when it comes to their door messages.

The clincher for me to review this was the little note I read on the door, saying basically apologizing for being closed sometimes - and the reason? Well, one of the owners is an actress, and so can't be in two places at once (or at least that was the gist of what I understood).

You have to admit, a shop like this deserves a place in your heart - and every home should have a table lighter in my humble opinion...
