Get busy with the bubbly at this unique event
Gear up for the weekend's Halloween parties by getting over to The Edinburgh Academy on Henderson Row for some serious fizzy action. This one day event on Saturday 29th October is the only UK consumer wine fair dedicated to champagne and sparkling wine and showcases over 75 wines with two sessions to choose from 12-3pm or 4-7pm.

Fizz Festival Masterclasses
Doug Wood of Woodwinters - 2016 Wine Merchant of the Year will be presenting The Wines of Ferghettina from Italy's Finest Sparkling Wine Region Franciacorta during his masterclass. This will be followed by Master of Wine Mark O'Bryen MW presenting a selection of the famous Taittinger Champagne; one of the oldest family owned Champagne Houses. Visitors can also choose to travel the Fizz Line with Nikki Welch, founder of The WineTubeMap, who will be taking tasters on a whistle stop tour of different styles of sparkling wines using the WineTubeMap's unique approach to wine.

At the end of the day there will be an awards ceremony to announce the winners of the People's Choice Scotland Awards as well as a number of competitions for visitors during the day. There will be fizz and oysters to enjoy along with entertainment from the Edinburgh Academy's Pipes and Drums Band.
You'll also be able to buy your favourite fizz on the day – great for stocking up for Christmas and New Year's Eve.
Tickets can be bought here priced from £25 each.
