It's almost Christmas, which means that the annual Finnish Christmas Fair will be coming to London very soon. Held at the Finnish Church which is based in Rotherhithe, London, it will be an ideal place to go for some Nordic and Scandinavian festive cheer.
Each year, the church hosts a charming selection of food and craft stalls where visitors can purchase Christmas gifts and various Finnish food products for the festive period. There is also a cafe selling Finnish pastries and an outdoor food court with traditional Finnish food for those interested in sampling some of the local cuisine.
Why not get some of your shopping out of the way and get some gifts for relatives and friends? And those of you stuck for gift ideas might benefit from browsing around too. A perfect excuse to go along and enjoy some retail therapy, Finnish food and a bustling Christmas atmosphere.
The Finnish Christmas Fair will be held from 23rd to 25th of November 2012 and again from 28th of November to 1st of December 2012.
There will also be a Scandinavian themed Christmas Street Market at Albion Street from 23rd to 25th of November 2012.
