A FAB-ulous Day Out

Richmond is putting the FAB into fabulous this summer, as it announces the town's first Fine Food and Real Ale Festival. Also known as FAB, the three-day festival will take place at Old Deer Park on the weekend of 23rd-25th August. Adult tickets range from 12-40, while children are completely free.

A celebration of local food and drink heroes, you will be able to attend demonstrations and talks given by top chefs, such as wild food forager, Mark Lloyd, and the award-winning Kenneth Culhane from The Dysant Arms; there will also be a showcase of artisan producers from London and Surrey. Alongside the food will be a hundred cask ales, including craft beer, cider, and perry. Beer writer, Melisa Cole, will deliver educational talks on the different styles of beer, and hold tasting sessions.

While you're not busy sampling the delicacies, enjoy a range of family entertainment, such as kids' cooker workshops, face painting, cookery competitions, a tug of war, and twenty-four unique musical live performances from musicians such as Martin Turner, Kokomo, and Jo Harman.
