Somerset House celebrates its tenth anniversary of Film4 for Summer Screen this year. The festival brings a fortnight of classic, cult, contemporary, and never-seen-before films. All these will be shown on London's largest movie screen, with complete surround sound, and set to the backdrop of Somer Set House's neoclassical courtyard. Each film will be introduced by the actors and directors who took part.
In addition, to celebrate their anniversary, Film4 Summer asked the public to vote for their favourite film, which has been shown at festival over the last ten years. The winner will be announced on the 27th May.
It is also the chance to enjoy a picnic at sunset as you listen to live DJs. And don't forget to visit the
Summer Screen Prints Exhibition, which is open between the 25th July - 25th August. There, you will be able to buy limited edition movie posters for £45.
Tickets to the films themselves are £16-£24, and includes
Rosemary's Baby, a double bill of
A Fistful of Dollars and
Mad Max 2,
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,
Sense and Sensibility, the UK premiere of
20,000 Days on Earth, and a double bill of
