I'm discovering Southampton along with you!
Event:
Pops Incorporated, the South's premiere Pops orchestra, will be performing a live show on January 6th 2018 performing some much loved classic songs from your favourite films. The concert will be at Thornden Concert Hall in Eastleigh, about an 7 mile drive from Southampton.

Pops Incorporated are a Pops orchestra modelled after the original Boston Pops Orchestra. A Pops orchestra is an orchestra that plays popular music as opposed to the classical symphony or philharmonic orchestra, although particular styles can vary. Pops Incorporated play everything from current pop to old school jazz, but one of their specialities is the film and soundtrack scores that this event will highlight. Don't go along expecting a couple of string and wind instruments on a small stage, Pops Incorporated have a full 75-piece orchestra.

You can expect to hear music from the likes of Harry Potter, Zoro, Star Wars, Spiderman and more. Much of the music is instrumental, but there are a few songs with vocals and these will be performed by orchestra members Georgie & Liz.

Tickets aren't available online, but they can be purchased by calling the Thornden Concert Hall box office directly on (02380) 246 555. Tickets £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £6 for under 16s. For more information about this event and future shows head to the Pops Incorporated website.
