Field Day is a summer music festival that has been held at Victoria Park since 2007, but it is about far more than just great tunes. Alongside headline bands and singers, you get the joys of Village Mentality - a good old fashioned style village fete with a sack race, tug of war, and egg and spoon race. The fete will also include a street feast, which brings together top quality street food traders, chefs, and restaurants; try anything from Rainbo's fresh and healthy gyoza to Hotbox's nine-hour slow smoked beef ribs. The Venn Street Market features an international host of traders from Argentina, China, Greece, India, Mexico, the Phillipines, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, America, and the UK.

As well as food, a cup of caffeine from Tim Peak's Coffee will give you the energy needed to dance to the music, while London's Brewery Market will help you loosen up.

This year's event will take place on the 7th & 8th June. Tickets for Saturday are £49.50, Sunday is £38.50, and a two-day pass is £78. Saturday's main act features Metronomy, an off beat electronics band, while Sunday welcomes back Pixies for an explosive live show.
