'Beyond'
Having a sense of community is important; usually it is created by participating in small local events around the area, such as fairs, markets, and volunteering; all these things help us become friendly with the neighbours. But the Southbank Centre want to get friendly with everyone; they're latest series will involve the community on its grandest scale in their
Festival of Neighbourhood. With shows running until the 5th June, it is incorporating everything we associate with what makes the perfect neighbourhood - allotments, street parties, games - but on a much bigger scale.
The festival is sponsored by Mastercard, and will include performances from singers, dancers, authors, and actors, so get ready to join in the biggest neighbourhood event of the year.
