Waterfront dining along the Thames is a relaxing thought. Especially when it is dining with a glass of red and a wood fired pizza and a selection of delicious appetisers. I had the pleasure of heading over to London's South side for an wine and dine at Putney's newest addition The Ferm Italian restaurant.






Brand new with an accruing menu consisting of some key Italian staples, including meatballs and pizzas, means The Ferm is fast becoming Putney's new flavour of the month. Definite must haves from the menu are the Halloumi & Aubergines, the Meat Pizza and the Italian Meatballs.



You cannot go past the salty goodness of grilled halloumi, followed by the juicy, succulent seasoned meatballs. Teamed with a bottle of red and you have yourself a winning combination of European flavours at a conservative price. The starters will set you back an easy £4, with the pizzas costing £8. Definitely a waterside must.
