Face Down is a monthly rock club happening at Scala, Kings Cross.



The event takes place every first Friday of the month. The event consists of a live-band playing, followed by clubbing till 4am. There is also an after party till 6am. The doors open at 10pm.

Every month they have new rock bands and theme. To get in costs 5 with a flyer or if you are dressed according to the theme, 6 on the door or ticket bought in advance. To buy tickets online click here.

There are two rooms with music, cheap drinks (drinks range from 2.90 - 5.00) and dancing from The Scarlett Girls.

The main room has a range of alternative music offerings such as:
Afi, All Time Low, Paramore, Funeral For A Friend, Gallows, 30 Seconds To Mars, New Found Glory, My Chemical Romance, Less Than Jake, Rancid, Blink 182, NOFX, The Blackout, Saosin, Kids In Glass Houses, The Ataris, Reel Big Fish, Alkaline Trio, Sum 41, Jimmy Eat World, Madina Lake, Silverstein, 44, Yellowcard, The Offspring, Brand New, Green Day, Enter Shikari, Fightstar, Billy Talent, Cobra Starship, Lostprophets, Good Charlotte and more.



The second room has a range of metal, hardcore, alternative and dance offerings such as: Parkway Drive, The Prodigy, A Day To Remember, Architects, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Pendulum, Limp Bizkit, Emmure, Born Of Osiris, Confide, The Irish Front, Annotations Of An Autopsy, Killswitch Engage, Penknifelovelife, Anthrax, Poison The Well, Faithless, Slipknot, Machine Head, As I Lay Dying, Uplifting Trace and more.
