Eye Candy: a visual pop culture art festival
An event that promises to disclose the visual art from the Midlands and the rest of the world is arriving in Birmingham. Held from the 11th to 14th of October, in partnership with Birmingham Zine Fest (that will be taking place at the same time), Eye Candy is going to spread illustrations, art and designs in several venues in the Southside of the city.

During the festival, local bars, restaurants and public spaces are going to hold workshops, exhibitions, meet ups, interventions, panels, talks and other creative events.

One of the names confirmed, illustrator Mr. Bingo, who is pretty well known for his works which have published in WIRED, Esquire and the New York Times, is going to be one of the finest speakers at the event. Something to looking forward to!

The programme for the Eye Candy Festival can be checked at the website of the event, but there are some more names of visual pop culture art to be confirmed yet.
