Four days of film screenings from student filmmakers is coming to the city. None other than independent culture and art supporters CornerHouse are providing the platform, and the would-be Tarantino's are stepping up.
This opportunity is part of Exposures Film Festival, which has been around since the mid-nineties. Exposures invite entries from all over the UK, and if your film hits home with the judges, it will be shown.
If you're expecting slap-dash, think again. The contributing students have their fingers on the proverbial pulse, and have created some impressive reels.
Art house films are definitely to be desired, and whilst some seem to boggle me, I'm in raptures with others. Whichever side you're on, Exposures will be showing the cream of the crop, separating the cream from the whey, and showcasing them at Cornerhouse, where you can decide if they're going to be big screen hits.
