Every month, the Museum of Science and Industry becomes a playground for mini-scientists as it transforms into a laboratory for children. With a range of experiments to take part in, children aged 1 to 4 years old can get involved and learn something new through this fun activity.
This is a chance for your child to play in one of the most exciting museums in Manchester. What amazing things will they discover?
There will be a range of activities on offer, including multi-sensory games and experiments which are perfect for helping children learn through use of all the senses. The sessions are designed to be fun and engaging. Both children and adults can get involved and play, learn, discover and experiment together. This is the perfect family friendly activity, where you can enjoy the day with your child. With a team of staff there to support you and explain the different activities, you will have all the help you need.
The event takes place in the morning from 10.30am until 12pm, with a session of singing and games taking place at 10.45am until 11.15am. Tickets cost £5 for one adult and one child, with any additional children costing an extra £3 each. You can book online or or at the museum
The Museum of Science and Industry is a great place to visit. Open daily from 10am until 5pm, there is plenty of time to explore all the great shows and exhibitions. This is a family friendly venue with lots of fun activities for children, science and history is brought to life through interactive shows.
