From Aldgate to Shoreditch, you can probably get one heavenly cup of coffee and then another long before your coffee boost is over. Actually, there's a rumour going around that the cafes in East London offer the best coffee in the UK and is no exception.



I discovered Exmouth by chance. As it happens to some of us coffee addicts, we need our caffeine to do the thinking, the talking, the standing and the walking. I was finding hard to do the latter while I was passing by Aldgate East. That is when I came across and I ordered a flat white.

What a glorious drink! The milk was steamed to perfection with its velvety texture and tingly bubbles. The coffee beans are freshly roasted in the house and are from the best coffee brand in the UK, Square Mile .

But there's more to Exmouth than coffee. Indeed, there is a a large assortment of tantalising culinary delights, ranging from pastries to cakes, quiches, flat bread sandwiches and exquisite salads. They have an open kitchen where you can see how they cook with quality ingredients, fresh and from scratch, which is always a plus.



You can't leave the coffee shop without tasting just one of the best pastries there'll ever be... the cherry almond tart... the closest to Heaven I'll probably ever get.

Last but not least, the staff is very friendly and efficient, while the atmosphere of the place is relaxed and cosy, no wonder there are so many regulars.
