Dance until the crack of doom
New year, new world, new doomsday... so get your groove on and party like there's no tomorrow in London. That's the idea behind The End of the World Party, inspired by the Mayans' predicted apocalypse: if tonight was your last night on Earth, you don't have to worry about having any regrets, hangovers or empty bank accounts the day after; you can just live out your dreams. "No holding back. Do what you always wanted to do. Be who you always to be. And dance until you explode".

On your last night ever, don't hide under your blanket and let your hair down in a crackpot, hot party that will surely heat up your winter. Just remember to leave your inhibitions at the door and enjoy the combination of loud music and spectacular stage performances at the grand and hip venue Scala in King's Cross.

As you step into this parallel universe at the crack of doom, you first enter a last wish room where you can write your final desires on the 'last requests mural' and request the DJ to play whichever song you want to hear on your last day on earth. The tracks can be any era and any genre, preferably happy ones, though - no heart-wrenching songs, please!

If you go upstairs, there are other rooms where more surprises await. You are in for an experience out of this world if you indulge yourself in one of the delicious space cupcakes available at one of the rooms. There you can also get a final crazy look in a make-up booth or find your significant other before its too late in a dating booth.

You'll also find the VIP room, but it's in the main party area that the real magic happens. There you'll find professional dancers on stage, a big screen counting down the time to destruction and a killer DJ who plays from a cage.

As you join the dancing crowds, you'll be seduced by the mind-blowing atmosphere - confetti, balloons, enthusiastic and fabulous party animals, posters with messages such as 'Die Happy' and 'Do what you want to do', top-class music and all the good party stuff.

Doors open at 10pm and you need to be at least 18 years old to attend. Get your ticket quickly from here; at the time of writing they only cost £9.

There's no specific dress code, but we dare you to wear what you've always wanted to and never had the courage to put on.
