Celebrate St Patrick's Day in style, with the cool folk at The Custard Factory. Instead of the usual Paddy's Day parade which takes place every year, how about something different?

The Custard Factory is known by Brummie locals as being the place for something 'different'. If you're planning to watch the St Patrick's Day parade, great, but don't miss the launch of the new and exciting (and completely free) Emerald Village , which promises to be a festival of fun for all the family.

It is a celebration of all things Irish, and being of Irish descent, I cannot help but feel a burst of pride that my Mother's home country will spread so much joy.

You can expect a village-like fayre, with food, music and entertainment. Little ones will be catered for with the kids corner, and grown ups will have more than their pick of goodies to thrill and intrigue. A Jameson bar is going to be set up along with a live music stage from the Moseley Folk Festival, so get ready for a day of fun.
