is the perfect place in central London to quite literally enjoy a taste of the Middle East. Situated on the Circle, District and Hammersmith and City Lines, and just around the corner from Marble Arch, this road of the exotic is easy to get to and full of flavour.

The southern part of the road near Marble Arch, noted for its delicious and distinct Middle Eastern/Mediterranean cuisine and numerous shisha cafes and bars, is open throughout the night. It is even known to some local Londoners as Little Cairo, Little Beirut, and even Little Cyprus.

is rich in ethnic culture, yet still thriving at the heart of a central area of London. The area is known for its distinctive and diverse communities from across the Middle East and Africa and it is certainly an experience in itself. The southern part of the road, with its many Lebanese restaurants and Arabic-themed nightclubs, is hugely popular. The wide variety of restaurants are also of great quality and taste, so it is well worth venturing here to one of the many Maroush chain restaurants to get an authentic and 'more-than-just-your-average' kebab.

An Odeon cinema is also present, once the location of the biggest screen in London, providing even further entertainment. And of course is still home to a number of your standard chains like Starbucks, Pret a Manger, Subway, and Costa Coffee.

is recommended for place when you are feeling in the mood for something exotic and authentic, and with a huge variety of places to work your way around, you can't go far wrong.
