Here is a unique idea for St Valentine's Day exploring the sense of smell in finding and attracting a dating partner. It's FREE at Eau.M.G. (love the name) which is short for "Eau Mon Garcon". You will follow your nose (and heart) in this unusual experience. that explores biological compatibility and attraction. Women will be able to test six different bottled scent samples created from the natural odours of specific males in the hope of sniffing out a perfect dating match.

What's the Science behind It?

The bespoke scents have been created in partnership with the "Caracter" laboratory in Paris. They use a new technology to capture the scent of people and, literally, bottle it. The technique is known as "olfactory photography" and it allows the essence of a person's worn clothes to be collected, reproduced and then delivered into its own scent. Dirty clothes? Yep, but don't let that put you off. The idea is to match new couples based on their instinctive olfactory attraction to the different odour 'fingerprints' of each bottle. Scientists and researchers tell us that our sense of smell is the most evocative of all the five senses. Smell is a powerful part of attraction.

Women visitors will be allowed to read the male's profile information on the box of each perfume sample beforehand. The female will be permitted to take their favourite man's scent away. When a woman who visits the pop-up shop detects a scent that they think is a good match for a partner, she will be able to then get in touch with the real-life member-match by following a link on the packaging, and speak to them directly through Match.com with three days FREE trial.
