Ever get a craving for Asian food but can't decide which country's delicious cuisine to devour? East Street Restaurant provides the perfect solution. With an expansive menu offering dishes from Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, East Street has plenty of options to meet the specific preference of your taste buds.

East Street is situated off of Tottenham Court Road, adjacent to the Roxy nightclub (and interestingly not on East Street), and it is generally quite easy to get a table.

The decor is trendy but casual, with colourful furniture and upbeat electronic music adding to the hip atmosphere. Each table is accented with place mats displaying a map of menu items' countries of origin and what sets each country apart, in culinary terms.



Dining environment is important, but it doesn't make much difference if the food is no good. Fortunately, East Street's dishes are excellent, a perfect blend of flavour and subtlety. The prices are the icing on the cake. With main courses ranging from approximately 6-10 pounds, affordability is a non-issue at East Street.

Not sure what to get? My personal recommendation would be the chicken katsu curry from Japan. It consists of breaded chicken strips with sticky white rice and a delicious curry sauce.
To finish off the evening and clear your palate, I would suggest a bowl of green tea ice cream.
