The Bi-Annual East London Design Show is back again this December at its new home, The Truman Brewery between 4th -7th December, and this year the team are feeling a reason to celebrate as it is their 21st birthday.


The event, (ELDS) was set up in 1994 by glassmaker Della Tinsley and photographer Gideon Cleary, with an aim to bring together the best of the UK's independent product, interior and jewellery designers, all under one roof, just before Christmas.

The organisers are passionate about bringing together the best artists and designers in the UK, especially those emerging and established designers who are handpicked for the quality of their products.

The show profiles the very best of the UK's product, interior and fashion designers - with many exhibitors using the event to launch new work. If you are interested in design, or just want a cool place to take Auntie Christmas shopping, why not try the this year? You can both take your time wandering around the Brewery in Shoreditch, grab a vintage scarf from Brick Lane, a curry from Petticoat Lane and feel pleased with yourself that you were hanging out with the design stars of the future.

Don't stay away if you are with babes either. The team are seriously child friendly, and will be setting up a dedicated creative space, play area and baby changing facilities on site.
