DUK is an award winning tapas within Preston in the North West of England. This tapas isn't any ordinary tapas, as it is full of dishes from all around the world, especially Peru.

This has to be the best restaurant I have ever visited as it is full of so many diverse dishes, spicy, sweet and sour. It is guaranteed that there will be a dish for any taste or even allergies. DUK provides dishes for vegans, vegetarians and even big meat eaters.

All the dishes at this fantastically individualised restaurant were designed and created by a self-taught chef named Andrea Mellon. These dishes were inspired by her travels around the world and therefore really have a tale to tell. It is a great place to get a feel for different cultures and how they may eat and drink.

The food is never bland, but full of so many colours and textures that are guaranteed to satisfy. All the food comes from local suppliers and is organic and you can definitely taste it.

My favourite dish is:
Andrea's famous "Peruvian stew" with fruit and vegetables - hot and spicy £7.95

DUK can be a little more expensive than your average restaurant, however it is definitely worth it.

It would be perfect for a birthday or even the up and coming Valentine's Day. %%Hint, hint.
