The Renaissance was a time when artists had their creative lightbulbs switched on, transforming the way they approached their craft. Drawing, which used to be just a handy tool for getting things right in the workshop, became a superstar in its own right. This exhibition is a bit of a big deal, showcasing the most extensive collection of Italian Renaissance drawings ever to grace the UK. From 1450 to 1600, this collection highlights around 160 pieces by over 80 artists, including the likes of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Titian.
